[A couple days after the orientation, Susan finally puts together a card to put in Sans' mailbox. It's fairly simple; "I'm sorry" written across the front, with a message and a picture on the inside. He isn't sure if this will work, but it's at least a good first step.]

Dear Skeleton Guy,

I'm sorry that my brother tried to attack your cool dogs and also another skeleton. He's usually a really good person except he doesn't like skeletons because this one time some zombies attacked our village and killed everyone. He doesn't mean to be mean, he just doesn't know how to talk to people or anything so that's what he did when he got upset.

But since now he knows he can't do that can he have his staff back? It's very important, he made it out of a tree that was his friend, and without it he can't help fight bad guys or protect people. It would be very very nice of you if you could let him have it back.

I was going to give you an "I'm sorry my brother was dumb" present but I couldn't find a good answer of what you like so I drew a picture instead. I hope you like it!

[ At some point, Lambert just stops replying to his radio, jumps on Pig, and heads off to the one place he can be pretty sure he's not going to have to deal with people for a while.

Which means there's a golden dragon (more of a wyvern, but why get hamstrung on technicalities?) hanging out at the hot springs, steam rising off its scales as it literally simmers with anger in the water. ]

[Unfortunately for Lambert, Sans can get anywhere in the carnival grounds instantaneously. And based on their practice sessions, it doesn't take him long to figure out where to go when Lambert goes inactive.

So, not too long after, a small skeleton will appear in the snow, huffing out a sigh as he sees the dragon stewing in the water.]

Feels good, huh? Just stepping out of your skin for a bit. Being something else.

[As Lambert knows, Sans can do something similar. What he didn't see was Sans's growing pains with such a similar power.]

[Sans has been resting, so he's a bit groggy when he answers, though he's eager to respond when he hears who it is. Some things feel very fresh and new at the moment and this is one of them. He pulls his radio over to where he's been snoozing, beneath a couple comforters.]

[A package is left outside the door of the cabin where Sans is staying, wrapped in green paper. Sans’ name is carefully lettered on the side, with a smaller “from Ginko” under it. Inside is a two-dose bottle of healing draught, along with an assortment of six novelty shirts.

Wrapped up with the bottle and shirts is a small note: “Wasn’t sure what you’d like, hopefully some of these are to your tastes.”]

[It arrives at some point around noon. More specifically, it is pulled there, the hovering making it rather easy (even if the sad result is a flower or two falling into the bed). Gongenzaka doesn't remain there long, but he does at least knock upon the door, listening for movement before leaving the bed alongside a card.

And, well, if there is never movement he probably tries again later. Regardless.]

According to the tradesperson, this bed allows you to play music, and alter the lights within. It seems to me, that such a bed would be excellent for long rests; and I have no doubt you will thus put this to good use!

[In line with gifting each of the supervisors something small, Sans has received what seems to be....A stuffed 'sock'. In actuality, it should cover the end of his tail, and has a small drawstring to hold it there when he needs. Might be a bit big, but oh well. The fabric is mostly blue-but a few stripes around it seem to shift and ebb through a few shades of it, occasionally touching on teal-green even.]

[On B18, they will find a fancy looking gift box in his trailer with a note left on top. The handwriting is done in an over the top cursive that he might recognize as the Ringmaster's, written on aged papyrus with the ink seemingly made of shining gold.]

[Her signature is so massive and florid that it fills up the rest of the paper. When they open the box, they'll find a scarab pendant. It contains a powerful defensive magic within it that can sense and deflect one potentially fatal blow a day.]

[Maybe she was spotted in the act, or maybe not-who knows, but Reira's long since figured which cabin he's in thanks to Papyrus, which means a card painted with magical paints is left, alongside a plastic-wrapped package, on the windowsill. Oh my!]



I wanted to give you something important, but I couldn't think of the right things alone. I had to ask other people for ideas, but I hope this still works!! I thought, maybe if you could close a sweater all the way, you could stay even warmer, too, so I asked for them to do that with the sweater.

Mostly though, I wanted to make sure you could match the others too. Papyrus said that being a dog, but also being a skeleton, meant a big advantage, which makes all of you number one!

I tried to make your face with cookies too. I think I got all of the eyes...

This card is Chuubone, by the way! Chuubone is a flip summoned monster. That means he appears by surprise-you have to flip him from 'face down'. When that happens though, he doesn't just appear...He summons three little chuubones! - Reira

[Sans' package, it seems, has a few things. First-three scarves for his dogs, alongwith a sweater sized for him, all in some shade of blue. The sweater, as Reira said, zips until the hood itself is closed. As well, all four articles of clothing read '#1 BONE MAKER', with an actual bone instead of the word. There are also a number of cookies, with chocolate chips for eyes, and a sort of crevice from where the cookies tried to merge the dough back together, for a mouth/nose. Delicious. His own face.]

[ A small beribboned paper bag is left by Sans's door. Inside is a shirt, a vial of Cat potion and a note. ]

I helped Papyrus pick out the bed, so I figured I could get away with something easy.

The Cat potion will let you see around you, no matter how dark it is. I say 'should' because no one's ever tried it on a skeleton, but with as many fae changes as you ave, the worst you might get is a little gassy. Try not to need it.

[Left in Sans' mailbox is a painted card. The card smells of pine needles, snow and a fireplace, and features Papyrus, waving enthusiastically ahead. Somehow there's boneprint snowflakes faintly falling against the pale background. Along the header and footer, the card reads:]

Sans-there is something we must speak about, as soon as possible..! At the edge of the stadium, Lambert and myself encountered one of the Fae...but more worryingly, she bore the name 'Nightshade'..!

[It wasn't the most direct method he'd had, getting that name, but he got the name and the name was what was important, so-] Considering what you yourself mentioned of Portland, regarding the Summer Fae... [...Well. It seems like this would be quite bad, but he'll let Sans cut in at that point.]
